About me
Hi, my name is Alex and I am your life coach, friend and guide. For me, personal growth wasn’t just a goal, it was a necessity.
I come from a humble background but made a highly successful career and life for myself until I was diagnosed with clinical depression a few years ago. Along with depression, came constant anxiety and frequent panic attacks and I felt completely lost, tired and alone with no hope of ever feeling better.
Therapy and medication helped but it was this journey of self-discovery and personal development that really helped me recover and stand on my own two feet again.
I have been on this journey of self-discovery for several years now. In this relentless quest to understand myself better, I have explored human nature and psychology by reading the works of the most famous and influential psychologists like Jean Piaget, Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, as well as works of influential figures such as Marcus Aurelius philosophy of Stoicism. I have also tried to understand how spirituality intertwines with this by exploring the teachings of Buddhism, Hinduism and Christianity.
I cannot claim to know everything, or be an expert, or have the magic key to happiness. I am someone who has hit rock-bottom and made my way back up and I want to share my learnings with you. By sharing my story here I want to tell you that: You are not alone! And if I can do it, so can you!
